And by trunk I mean which car has the nicest trunk on the inside, what manufacturers have put way too much effort into how the inside of their trunk looks? Who went beyond gray carpet? I was inspired to pose this question during my research of the Cadillac Allante yesterday, this car is my most recent automotive obsession... I kind of want one.
I'm pretty sure they used Suede to line the trunk! This picture is of the trunk of the final year of the Allante, perhaps the most sought after year, because it is the only year that got the Northstar 4.6L with 295 horse power, dropping 0-60 from 7.9 to 6.4.

"Yo, can we fit this body in the trunk of your Caddy? Does it pass the body test?"
"Yea, but dude, suede lined interior! No way am I getting blood on that!"

No problem mate :) I don't care who answers what or gets credit for what. As long as we can agree that Rolls-Royce makes the bestestest boots ;)

That's a crazy 0-60 time drop from one year to the next.
I think my Montego nailed it:

The Bentley Azure/Continental R always had a lovely carpeted trunk. And the Lagonda's wasn't bad, either.

It's actually got an entire single exhaust system in it right now, the shop gave it back to me after they installed the duals this summer, haven't gotten rid of it yet.

Of course, I keep him on retainer as a photographer. It's very expensive.
Honestly, the seller took them for me before I bought the car. I didn't want to drive 45 minutes to check it out to find a rotted out destroyed trunk/gas tank.

Yes it is!
They went to great lengths to hide it...or none.
For some reason the Mercury had a side filler tube and I believe the ford's had the behind the license plate filler. I don't think you see this tube on the Torino, just the Montego. But it IS stock and proper.
